Smart Phones can Make you Rich

Smart Phones can Make you Rich

November 9, 2010 by Justin

Yes, we are in the information age and now mobile access is a way of life!  If the only thing you do on your mobile phone is making and receiving calls and voice mail, you are probably a senior citizen. Haven’t you seen the commercial of the newlyweds depositing their checks using a iPhone?  Mobile phones can do a lot; they are the next micro-computer.  Taking control of our lives using information can make you rich.  How?  There are many applications (app) that can help you become rich and many of them are free.  Some of the most popular mobile applications can be downloaded on your phone.  Mint.com is personal finance app that you can access via mobile or Internet.  It provides access to all your financial account information in one place.  It helps you manage your money with useful tools such as budgeting, tracking spending, purchase lookup and pay your bill reminders.  Gas Finder will tell you the cheapest gas in your neighborhood or use your phone GPS to be directed to the gas station.  This is particularly useful when you are traveling or away from home.  ShopSavvy allows you compare prices locally and online to find out the best price.  You simply scan the bar code and you get a list of prices.  There are many apps that will make you more efficient.  You can track your stock portfolio using Google Finance.  There are apps like bus schedules, menus, dictionaries and many others that work well on a mobile phone.

This is the future, so how do you like it?  Why not make it work for you by taking advantage of the information to make you rich.  Control your expenses, find the lowest price, and pay attention to deadlines and due dates.  With all this information, you can become rich, if you use it.  If you like this article, please subscribe.

I wouldn’t necessarily say you can get rich using these steps, but it’s certainly a good step. Not bad info.

From someone who has used ShopSavvy, however, I gotta say it doesn’t work that well. I tried scanning multiple items (common things like milk), and it never worked. Maybe they’ve updated since, but this was back in the spring of this year.
