This is the Twenty Sixth KC Awards Clone Wars Edition of personal finance bloggers. You may be curious about the recognition! Each week, the Academy of Frugal Journalistic Writers will recognize some bloggers with the KC (pronounced casey) award. What is the KC award? First it is more symbolic than anything else. What is the origin?
Background
If a Krant star fighter can land on planet Krant, anything is possible! The Battle of Krant was a major battle that took place in the Clone Wars. For those of you unfamiliar with Clone Wars, Krant was a wilderness planet characterized by temperate forests and cliffs. Krant became a major rendezvous point for spies and rebels during the Galactic Civil War. Krant appears only in the game Start Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. Krant was a warrior and trained to fight alongside the republic and managed to fend off the invasion party and escape the planet. Fact or fiction, I embrace my heritage as a (frugal) warrior leading by example and teaching wannabe warriors in the Blogosphere.
Rules
The selection of blogs is up to the committee of one established by krantcents as a representative of the Academy of Frugal Journalistic Writers. That committee can be influenced by meaningful comments, signing up for my RSS feeds, backlinks, links, trackbacks, Facebook Likes, Twitter, Retweets, Digg, StumbleUpon, delicio, Yahoo Buzz, Google Bookmarks and other social media. If you plan on creating a single purpose political action committee (PAC) to buy advertising on my blog to solely influence the committee, please go ahead! Please understand it will not influence the results.
This week the following personal financial blogs are recognized with a KC (pronounced casey) award:
Wealth Informatics – “How to make 31 days seem better than a month?”
Wealth Pilgrim – “5 Reasons You Lose Your Money Investing”
Well Heeled Blog – “What Companies Can DO To Help Employee’s Retirement Preparedness”
Yes, I Am Cheap – “Cheapskate Video: Save Money on Home Heating Costs”
Yound and Thrifty – “Gift Giving at Destination Weddings?“
Feel free to leave meaningful comments and use social media to influence future selections. Remember, check every week to see who was recognized at KC Awards Clone Wars Edition.
