Happy New Year 2015

Happy New Year!  Today is New Year’s Eve and tomorrow is full day of football games.  Living in Los Angeles, I look forward to the Rose Parade showing what is best about southern California.  If you don’t know, it is the weather!  The beaches, skiing, museums, theater, sports, parks and food are pretty good too.  It is hardly perfect, but it is home!

The holidays are over and children will be going back to school soon.  College football bowl games have changed this year, although the Rose Bowl which is the granddaddy of them is tomorrow.  Los Angeles Clippers are no longer a footnote and the Los Angeles Lakers are rebuilding, but are still working on their game.  We are just about a month from the Super Bowl.  The National College football championship game is on January 12, 2015. I like this time of year!  I am on vacation and there are a lot of sports to watch.  I have been busy with d my daughter visiting.   Shopping online, most of the holiday parties and the (2014) year are will end tonight!  In two weeks, I go back to work and I am actually looking forward to it.  It is one of the perks of doing what you enjoy.  Speaking of things to do……..  This is also the time of year that people organize their taxes and get ready for new year.  My tax planning starts with a spreadsheet so I can just drop in the numbers as my W-2, 1099s and other tax information arrive.  I also clean out my files and start new files.  I am really looking forward to this year.I keep working on m prior goals and look forward to new ones.
